I am now reading rainbow high which is a series of three books by alex sanchez... this book is basically to inform people what gay people go through in there life like when one of the boys came out they got beat up and stuff ...right now jason the jock and not out of the closet fully gay is having trouble telling people he is gay he came out to his coach but dosnt know if he should tell his teamates cause he is afraid he could lose his scholarchip for colege and he wants to go to colege...after his dad found out he was gay his dad got really drunk almost hit him but jason hit him and his dad ended up leaving the house for good...another charecther kyle who is dating jason and he is on the swim team is having trouble choosing tech or comunity colege with jason or going to prinston and leaveing jason behind his dad dosnt really care that he is gay he is taking it well better than kyle thaught he would and his mom is happy that he has a good boyfriend....the other main charecter is nelson he was the gay and always had been the gay of the school he gets harrased alot and his parents dont care if he is gay cause they have learned to deal with it his mom just met his new boyfriend and she really likes him but she dosnt know that he is hiv positive and lukily nelson tested negative soo all he has to worry about is telling his mom that his boyfriend is hiv positive which is gonna be hard to tell her.

in my opinion i really think this book is good and it really opens ur eyes for you and shows you how gay people get treated when in reality they are just like everyone else in the world....i think they should be treated right !!!! and yes alex sanchez is gay and he is a great writer i higly recomend this book!!!!! even if you arnt gay cause i know half the class is rood and obnoxious against gays!!!!

if you saw someone getting beat up and you knew he was the gay kid in the school would you help him or wuold you help ruin him and if you were in there situation what would you do to help stand up for rights against gays??

ok sooo i was reading black and white but i didnt finish it cause it was extremly boring and not my kind of book soo where i was at was the guy was still in jail and he ended up just going to court and found out that he would be returning home soon .....anyway the white boy still never confessed that he shot the guy and even though the guy wasnt killed he is still afraid to come out and the black boy wont turn him in cause they are friends...........

i think this book is really really boring and i dont sugest you read it but if you like that kind of stuff then go ahead lol....i thaught the white guy should go bail his friend out and admit he shot the guy if he was really his friend he should have been there for him and admited it was him

if you and a friend were in this situation would you admit that you shot the guy or let your friend take all teh blame when he wasnt even holding the gun ???

black adn white

i havnt read much of my book since thursday and right now the colored boy marcus is in jail and he knows peaople want to steal his shoes cause he got the new nike shoes and they are really expensive so when peaople start making comments about his shoes he stay standing at all times in the yard so he can make sure they stay on his feet.The part im reading at the moment is while he is entering the coutroom and he see's his mom and his coach casey. thats all i have read so far. so far i think this book is pretty good its kinda interesting i cant wait to see if marcus's friend comes and admits that he shot the gun off.

If u were marcus would you turn your friend in or would u take the cover???

BLACK AND WHITE!!!!!

Im reading black and white its about a colored boy and a white boy who are like best friends and they come over all the racial stuff cause they dont want to be seperated they are both big basketball stars of there school and they are always together.
They need money for senior dues so they decide to start robbing peaople and just bringing a gun around so if they ever have to shoot it in the air.....well one day while they are robbing a guy that works at the bus station while they are robbing him they pull out the gun and the finger slips so the guy gets shot in the head both of the boys take off running in different directions really scared soo for weeks on end they are wondering if they killed the guy and i just got to the part where the colored boy was getting arrested....

if you were in this situation what would you do and why ...... would you run or would you pay the time and turn urself in ??

ok soo i read a book elswhere this book was amazing!!!!!!!! it was about a 15 year old girl who got hit by a car and died. She ended up waking up on this boat with a girl ontop bunk the girl she woke up with was Thandi she died from a gun shot to her head so thandi has a big hole in her head right in the back above her neck....anyway liz didnt know she was dead for awhile and she ended up meeting a famous singer named Curtis Jest liz really like's his music so when they met on the s.s nile which is the boat she woke up on she was extremely excited and Thandi Curtis and Liz became really good friends on the boat.when the boat stopped all the passengers are supposed to get off but liz decides to hide under the bed and wait but the 7 year ild captain finds her and she does get off the boat but she is the last one off the boat.

when she reaches the dock she is greeted by her grandma betty liz ends up living with her the whole time she is in elsewhere.In elswhere u dont age forward u age backward soo liz breaks down alot through out the book cause she wants to trun sixteen she wants to fall in love and she wants to have children but she can never do that so when you turn 7 days old u get sent down a river to earth.liz ends up falling in love with this guy but this guy's wife ends up dying and living in elsewhere so liz gets her heart broken ......there is more with this love thing but i dont wanna ruin the book.

my reaction to this book was that it was AMAZING!!!!! I THINK U SHOULD READ IT .......my question is IF YOU WHERE IN LIZ'S SITUATION WHAT WOULD YOU DO WOULD YOU GET OVER THE FACT THAT YOU WILL BE REBORN TO A DIFFERENT FAMILY OR GET UPSET ALL THE TIME CAUSE YOU ARE DEAD??......I ALSO REALLY THINK YOU SHOULD READ THIS BOOK IT IS REALLY GOOD!!

I read Mahalia

I read Mahalia by Joanne Horniman.
The book was about a young teen dad his name was Matt on his sixteenth birthday his girl friend Emily was wating for him to come home from the pizza place and when he got home she told him that she was pregnant they ended up wanting to keep the babie so they did.When the baby ws born they named her Mahalia. Emily got really stressed and upset and told Matt that she needed time away so she ended up leaving while Matt raised Mahalia for almost two years before Emily finaly returned home after Emily got back she told Matt that she wanted to get full custody of Mahalia and when she said that Matt broke down and get upset and kinda told her that he had raised her and she wasnt use to Emily she was use to Matt and Matt thaught it would be better if they both raised her for now untill Mahalia got old enough to chose where she would want to stay.

I thaught this book was very good because it was kinda touching and it can really happen in everyday life.

My question is If u were in Matt's shoes would u fight Emily for custody so you could raise Mahalia

I highly suggest this book it is very good.

The First Part Last

I read The First Part Last by Angela Johnson.The book was about a teen dad that had to raise his baby alone without the mother. He was only seventeen years old. In the book it started with last part of the whole story like it started with bobby and feather living at home and bobby taking care of feather. In the book nia feathers mom was at home sleepin and just after bobby wnt out of the house nia started bleeding she was due in a month. Nia was dreaming that when she was five years old she wanted to be a firefighter and save people from burning buildings, she also dreamt that when she was ten she wanted to be a baloonist flying high over everyone, and thats what it felt like she was doing now she said " Im flying up high over everybody;way oaver the city and even myself. Im flying over bobby and my parents, and the park with all my friends in it. I guess this is what it must feel like to be dying."

Bobby gets home and see's a note that says to meet his mom at the hospital cause something happened to nia after bobby gets that note he runs to the hospital and finds out what room nia is in. bobby holds feather and nia is taken to a different hospital for urgent care. Then bobby has to raise feather alone because nia is very sick. nia wants to give feather up for adoption but bobby wont sign the papers cause nia is sick and feather is the only thing he has that reminds him of nia and that is how the book ends.
